Dan Allen was in a mood to talk following the Clearwater Threshers contest against the Florida Fire Frogs, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Fire Frogs, 7-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Allen said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Florida on a 4-hitter, allowing 3 walks and racking up 5 strikeouts.
