Season Possibly Over for Randy Alshouse Sunday, June 24th, 2035 The season is apparently over for Randy Alshouse. The Minnesota Twins medical staff informed the club that the closer will be out at least 8-9 months with a fractured elbow. Alshouse was hurt in the game against Las Vegas while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Up to this point in the season, Alshouse has fashioned a 2-2 won-lost mark, made 28 relief appearances and rung up 19 saves. He has a 2.10 ERA and has allowed 15 hits over his 30 innings of work, struck out 50 batters and walked 23. |
