Oakland Wins American League West Division Crown Thursday, September 19th , 2030 Oakland Athletics fans have reason to celebrate today, as their franchise is the class of the American League West Division. With their record standing at 94-57, the club officially wrapped up the division title today, for the 30th time. The team manager said everyone on their roster is looking forward to the postseason and trying to capture the club's 10th championship. "That's what you dream about your whole life," he said. Shortstop Mike Bates added that it's a great feeling to win the division, but said ultimately, a World Series victory is what will mark success for the club. |
