League Suspends McNaughton and Parker for Brawl Sunday, August 9th , 2071 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's GCL-Jacksonville contest at Roger Dean Stadium. The Cardinals Willie McNaughton and the Jumbo Shrimp Ed Parker will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. McNaughton is currently hitting at a .390 pace with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and has scored 20 times. For the season Parker has compiled a 2-0 record with a 4.76 ERA. |
