Trujillo Strokes 5 Hits Tuesday, August 25th , 2071 Roberto Trujillo exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Bright House Field. The GCL catcher had a field day against the GCL Phillies, finishing with a 5-for-6 day, even as his club took the loss, 14-13. "It's a shame that we lost the game," he said later. "It's really hard to enjoy what I did today. You would think 5 hits would do it." Roberto Trujillo flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In 55 games this year Trujillo has posted a .365 average and put up these numbers: 9 home runs, 51 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
