Pena Socks It to Steamrollers, Cracks 6 Hits
Felipe Pena told the press after his 6-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."

Well, that's just what Pena of the Madison College Sundevils did against the Ft. Wayne College Steamrollers. He went to the plate 6 times and 6 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 13-10.

"Not much I can say," offered Pena in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 6 hits for the win?"

Felipe Pena hit a solo-shot off Colby Imel in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

Looking at his season stats, Pena has compiled a .357 batting average and a .452 on-base percentage, while hitting 14 home runs and driving in 46 runs.
