Carpenter Slaps 5 Hits
Rich Carpenter said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Sea Lions Ballpark, and it showed in the box score. The San Francisco HS right fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Gordon HS Spartans, leading his club to victory, 8-4.

"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Carpenter said later."

Rich Carpenter singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Justin Griffin in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.
