Bad Behavior Costs Martinez and Mason

Francisco Martinez of the Albuquerque Scorpion Kings and Peter Mason of the Montgomery Kings received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 2 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at High Rock Park.

On the season, Martinez is batting .269 with 13 home runs and 51 RBIs. He has played in 54 games.

This year Mason has posted a record of 1 win and 5 losses with a 6.05 ERA. He has appeared in 11 games and struck out 43 in 61 innings.
