Guevara and Clément Suspended for Free-for-All Wednesday, August 29th , 2068 If there wasn't a history between Antonio Guevara of Ottawa and Kevin Clément of Toledo, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 2 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Guevara said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This year Guevara is hitting .278 with 108 hits, 19 home runs, 73 RBIs and has scored 69 runs. So far this year Clément has 4 saves in 58 relief appearances with a 14-4 record and 3.86 ERA. |
