The San Francisco Giants picked up a win at Candlestick Park, knocking off the Los Angeles Dodgers, 8-3. On the mound for San Francisco was right-hander Rick Matula, who played a pivotal role in the win. San Francisco goes to 86-57. The win puts them 6 games up in their division.
