Link Curtis Triumphs in AL Rookie Vote Wednesday, September 1st , 1965 Youngster Link Curtis emerged as the latest AL Rookie of the Month today. The young man from California deserved the honor, batting .306 with 9 home runs and 28 RBI. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Curtis enjoy the limelight. Curtis is currently batting .235 with 26 home runs and 82 RBIs. |
