LF Pinson Signs with Chicago Tuesday, November 23rd , 1965 The White Sox today announced that they have come to terms with Vada Pinson, a 27-year-old left fielder they've been scouting for a while. Pinson will earn $400,000 a year over 3 years and is expected to play a key role with the club. Pinson has played in 1112 games and is hitting .306 lifetime with 620 RBIs, 1384 hits, 265 doubles, 66 triples, and 141 home runs. He has scored 765 times and stolen 179 bases. |
