Cardenas Burned Badly During Kitchen Mishap Wednesday, March 23rd , 1966 Reds second baseman Leo Cardenas required medical attention yesterday after severely burning himself while preparing dinner at his home. Cardenas apparently burned the palm of his right hand on a stove. The injury will reportedly keep Cardenas out of action anywhere from 5 days up to a week. |
