Rangers Roll to 11-2 Win Over Giants
The Texas Rangers handed the San Francisco Giants a sound defeat, 11-2, at Oracle Park. Alfredo Prieto was a main contributor to the win. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Texas. Texas starter Dan Willson was credited with the win after throwing 105 pitches over 8.2 innings. His record now stands at 5-1. The Rangers, now 24-8, have been sizzling early on.

With Texas leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Prieto hit a changeup from Juan Bonilla for a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 4-0.

"Not the preferred outcome," San Francisco manager Kevin Scheckel said, when asked afterward about the game.
