The Toronto Blue Jays went down to defeat to Gil Christie and his Minnesota teammates. The final score was 1-0 in favor of the Twins. Juan Luna recorded the save, his 9th. With the win, the Twins hiked their record to 28-17.

Quadir Kenion, the 26-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Kenion contributed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put Minnesota up, 1-0.

"The object of the game is to score more runs than they do," said Kenion. "Mission accomplished."
