The St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Phillies will take the League Championship to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation today, the Cardinals shut out the Phillies 1-0 at Citizens Bank Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. St. Louis right-hander Doug Ancrum did his part. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball.

Ancrum allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings for the Cardinals. He walked 1 and struck out 5.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Ancrum.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
