League Suspends Ray and Edwards for Brawl Saturday, July 13th , 2047 Jon Ray of Seattle and Sincere Edwards of Kansas City were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Ray will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Edwards was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Ray is currently batting .255 with 11 home runs and 37 RBIs. Edwards has started 20 times this year, pitched 132 innings, fanned 141 batters and walked 40. His current record is 7 wins and 3 losses with a 3.89 ERA. |
