Arizona Trades Flores to Florida for Minniefield Monday, July 29th , 2047 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Florida Marlins have agreed to a deal that will have 37-year old RHP Luis Flores and 19-year old minor league CF Bobby Tinoco heading to Florida in exchange for 21-year old minor league LHP Nehemiah Afriyie and 19-year old minor league RHP Kymani Minniefield. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Arizona will retain a portion of Flores's remaining contract. This season Flores has made 39 relief appearances with 11 saves. His won-lost record is 2-3 with a 2.31 ERA. |
