Atlanta, Oakland Swap Players Monday, July 29th , 2047 After a week of negotiations, the Braves and Athletics have come to terms on a deal that will send 29-year old C Chris Thompson to Oakland for 21-year old minor league 2B Jesse Rasmussen and 18-year old minor league LHP Anson Noftall. Atlanta will retain a portion of Thompson's remaining contract. In this current campaign Thompson is hitting at a .267 clip with 2 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
