Mets Send Grobelny to California Monday, July 29th , 2047 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Mets announced today the acquisition of 21-year old minor league 3B Cletus Mallandaine from the California Angels in exchange for 23-year old minor league C Josh Grobelny and $3,000,000 in cash.
