Dunlap Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, May 9th , 2047 Andy Dunlap continued his streak at Busch Stadium today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The St. Louis left fielder was 3-for-3 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Cardinals were not as fortunate, losing 16-4 to the Milwaukee Brewers. "Dunlap was hitting everything we threw at him," said Milwaukee manager Stephane Legace. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Andy Dunlap doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and walked in the 8th. So far this season Dunlap has no home runs and a .400 batting average. |
