National League Announces #1 Player Monday, May 13th, 2030 So far in his young career, Eddie Watkins has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Arizona Diamondbacks center fielder hit at a torrid .556 clip as he collected 10 hits in 18 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Thus far this year Watkins has hit .220 with 5 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
