The Omaha Storm Chasers "proved we can handle pressure" by beating the Round 1 and eliminating the Columbus Clippers, according to series MVP Avisail Garcia.

"This is the big stage, we're off to the Round 2 and looking towards the Round 3," he said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of year and it's only going to get more intense from here. But I think we can handle it just fine."

Omaha won the final game 5-0, to wrap up the series 4-2.

Garcia led his team to the series win by putting up a .423 average, with a .483 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Omaha Storm Chasers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Rochester Red Wings - Buffalo Bisons series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
