June's PCL Batter of Month Award Announced Wednesday, July 1st , 2099 Byron Browne of the Iowa Cubs said he feels just as good now as he did five or ten years ago in his career. That much seems obvious, as even at the age of 36, the right fielder put up a fantastic month and has been named the Pacific Coast League Batter of the Month for June. On the month, Browne batted .400, hit 6 home runs, drove in 18 runs, scored 17 times and compiled a .444 on-base percentage. This year Browne has collected a .348 batting average to date with 92 hits in 264 at-bats, 46 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 35 times. He has played in 67 games. |
