Fresno Advances to Round 3 Monday, October 3rd , 2072 The Fresno Grizzlies said they felt the Round 2 with the Altoona Curve would go the distance. But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Fresno advanced to the Round 3 with a 12-3 score, to clinch the series 4-1 at Express Ballpark. "Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Jackie J Hayes, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the Round 4." For the series, Hayes hit .450 with a .478 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Fresno Grizzlies will play against the Norwich Sea Unicorns in the next round. Norwich won their series against the Amarillo Sod Poodles 4 games to 0.
