Brewers Win at New York, 3-2
|
Kevin Smith pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The New York Mets, despite Smith's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Milwaukee Brewers at Citi Field. Max Lazar, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits. The win puts Milwaukee at 11-11.
Having an impact for Milwaukee was Mario Feliciano. In the top of the first inning, the 21-year old catcher had a 2-run home run to make the score 2-0, Brewers.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Feliciano told the Milwaukee Chronicle.
