Palumbo, Rangers Get Tidy 2-0 Win Over Cleveland
|
In a tight game between the Texas Rangers and the Cleveland Indians, pitcher Joe Palumbo was terrific on the mound. The Texas left-hander helped his team to the 2-0 win. DeMarcus Evans got credit for the save for Texas. It was his 6th of the year. After today's action, Texas sits at 16-20; Cleveland slips to 22-17.
Palumbo made it look easy. He scattered 5 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The left-hander upped his season record to 5-2.
"It feels good to get this one," Palumbo told the Texas Today.
