Welker Leads Rockies to 11-6 Win Over Phillies
Colton Welker batted in 4 runs to lead Colorado to a win over Philadelphia. The final score was 11-6. Welker chipped in with 3 singles and 1 home run. At 25-26, the Rockies find themselves in second place in the National League West Division.

There was more than one reason the Rockies beat the Phillies, but Welker's big at-bat in the bottom of the first was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Welker said.
