Kaprielian Pitches Oakland to Shutout Victory Tuesday, May 19th, 2020 James Kaprielian of Oakland easily handled the Texas Rangers, stopping them on 5 hits and chucking a complete-game 5-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said Texas manager Baseball America. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." He finished the game with 8 strikeouts and no walks in a solid outing.
