Good production from right fielder Chris Williamson helped the South Bend Cubs topple the Great Lakes Loons, 4-2. Williamson was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs for the Cubs. South Bend reliever Rob Drljaca was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Maddox Offredi took the loss. Chris Underwood finished to wrap up his 8th save.

Chris Spetter dealt the Loons a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and South Bend leading 1-0, Spetter hit a 1-0 curveball for a 2-run single.

"I really like what we did out there today," Williamson said after the game.
