Sauceda Leads Burlington to 2-0 Win
Burlington starter Alan Sauceda pitched well against the Cedar Rapids Kernels at Community Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-0. Steve Kennedy got the save, his 11th in 18 chances. With the win over Cedar Rapids, the Bees improved to 56-76.

Sauceda made it look effortless. He scattered 3 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts. The Burlington right-hander encountered little resistance from the Cedar Rapids hitters. His season record is now 13-5.

"Alan had electric stuff," said Burlington manager Rusty Ryal.
