Indians Earn 4-1 Road Win Over Everett
|
The Spokane Indians beat the Everett AquaSox, 4-1, at Everett Memorial Stadium. Jorge Salgado starred for Spokane. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Mike Loyd sewed up the save, his 16th. The Indians now have a record of 34-23 with the win over Everett.
Early in the game, Salgado had a 2-run home run for Spokane. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Indians on top, 2-0.
"We're producers not directors," said Salgado. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."
