Doubledays Win with Late Rally
The Auburn Doubledays did just enough to sneak past the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 4-3, at Ripken Stadium. Auburn pitcher Quadir Samuda, in particular, had a standout performance. The 7th-place Doubledays have won 4 in a row.

Andy Mulka provided a timely hit. The Auburn second baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Doubledays on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"I'm glad this one's going in the books as a 'W'," Samuda said.
