Williamsport Hot Streak Continues with 4-3 Win
Williamsport Crosscutters starter Jim Neff was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Elizabethton Twins, 4-3. Neff picked up the win for Williamsport, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-0. Chris Lindback picked up the save for Williamsport, his 6th of the year.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Crosscutters had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when first baseman Luis Ramirez hit a solo home run. The home run came off Luis Vallejos and made the score 4-1, Crosscutters. Ramirez was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times.

Elizabethton manager D.J. Houlton said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
