Cardinals Earn 3-0 Road Win Over Milwaukee
St. Louis starter Gerolamo Manacorda had a strong outing against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-0 win. Manacorda, the winner, moves to 6-4. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 5 walks. St. Louis now sits in first place in the National League Central Division at 38-28.

The Cardinals got an important contribution from shortstop Ben Gueye, who in the top of the fifth knocked a 2-1 slider into left-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Cardinals ahead, 2-0.
