Phillies Win, 9-5
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks.
A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Juan Estela, who is on pace for 131 RBI this season, led the Philadelphia Phillies to a win over the Arizona Diamondbacks, 9-5. Philadelphia has now won 5 games in a row.
Philadelphia grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Estela, who is tied for 4th in the NL in RBI with 63, hit a run-scoring double. His 16th double of the season put the Phillies out in front, 4-3.
"We maximized our offense today," said Philadelphia skipper Ryan Houston. "That makes everyone's life easier."
