In a tight tilt between the Minnesota Twins and the Cleveland Guardians, Bobby Temple was the deciding factor. The Minnesota right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Jeff Ruda collected save number 23. With the win, Minnesota upped its record to 60-56.

Minnesota took a 3-2 lead on Mike Fremer's 20th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Fremer hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Cleveland pitcher Kennan Yetman visibly frustrated.

"It was a solid team effort," said Temple after the game.
