Reading Tags Trenton with 5-2 Defeat
|
Reading Fightin Phils starter Andy Firth found his groove in his team's 5-2 win over the Trenton Thunder. Reading is now 23-20, Trenton 18-22.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Steve Moore? The 30-year old second baseman Moore stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put Reading up, 4-1. For the game, he was 2 for 3, including 1 double and 1 single.
"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Firth.
