Dane Tucker was a vital contributor to the 7-4 Amarillo victory over Springfield. The Sod Poodles third baseman went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Amarillo starter Mike Thomson was credited with the win after throwing 108 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 6-6. Picking up the save was Abel Miles, his 2nd.

Tucker had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the third for the Sod Poodles. Coming up with the bases loaded and Amarillo trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.
