Jean-Louis Molinier pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The San Jose Giants, despite Molinier's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Inland Empire 66ers at San Manuel Stadium. The 66ers have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 6th win in 24 games.

Aydan Trahan was the walk-off hero for Inland Empire. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the 66ers catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"That's how to finish a ballgame," said Trahan.
