Tacoma Wins Round 2 Crown Monday, September 21st , 2043 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Tacoma Rainiers, that meant the Pacific Coast League Round 2 trophy. The Rainiers took a 4-1 victory over the Oklahoma City Dodgers at Cheney Stadium, winning their 3rd championship after taking the series 3-2. "We've got grit," said Rainiers third baseman Pacorro Tapia, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
