Bulldogs Rally to Eke Out Win
The Baltimore Bulldogs downed the Windy City Blues, 4-3, at Jistic Field. Val Schmit led the way, going 2-for-4 for Baltimore. Baltimore reliever Rakeem Senegal picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Shane Hellman took the loss. The win makes Baltimore 48-28.

Schmit had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-1 fastball from Shane Hellman, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Bulldogs a 4-3 lead. It was the 23rd home run of the year for Schmit.

In postgame comments, Schmit said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
