The Minnesota (GCL) Twins have swept the Houston (GCL) Astros and are on to the Round 3. Minnesota (GCL) won 5-3 today at Ballpark of Belvedere to clinch the Round 2.

"We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Minnesota (GCL) center fielder Jesse Nikkila, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning."

Nikkila won the award with a .500 batting average and a .476 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 6 runs.
