Louisville Bats Capture Round 2 Friday, September 22nd , 2051 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Louisville Bats, that meant the International League Round 2 trophy. The Bats took a 4-3 victory over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at Coca-Cola Park, winning their 12th championship after taking the series 4-2. "We've got grit," said Bats left fielder Preston LeClerc, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
