Spearman Raps 3 HR Against Pirates Friday, March 23rd , 2046 Georgia Southern Eagles center fielder Justin Spearman was on fire with three home runs in the 8-5 win over the East Carolina Pirates at Blue Jackets Ballpark today. "The first two, I got all of them and it was no doubt they were gone," Spearman said. "The last one I got lucky. It seemed like the wind helped it a little. Old Mother Nature helped me get into the record books." For the game, Spearman went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Justin Spearman grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Keith Brannon in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Keith Brannon in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Jon Watkins in the 9th. Spearman is hitting .308 in 2046 with 28 RBIs and 11 home runs. |
