Done Deal: Cuypers for Tarrant Monday, July 31st , 2051 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Washington Nationals and the Chicago (A) White Sox have agreed to a deal that will have 17-year old CF Gijsbert Cuypers heading to Chicago (A) in exchange for 35-year old RF Ryan Tarrant. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Chicago (A) will retain a portion of Tarrant's remaining contract. Currently Tarrant is hitting .233 and has collected 20 home runs, 49 RBIs and scored 62 times, while playing in 98 games. |
