2048 Best AL Rookie Picked Tuesday, November 17th , 2048 This year's outstanding rookie has been chosen and the honor goes to Minnesota third baseman Mike Montgomery. He received the 2048 American League Rookie of the Year Award for his consistent play and solid numbers. He finished the regular season with a .307 batting average, 40 doubles, 3 triples and 27 home runs. The 24-year-old Montgomery also had 78 RBIs and scored 91 times. Tyler Sontag of the Chicago White Sox finished second in voting, while Phil Harris of the Toronto Blue Jays finished third. |
