Grays Ron Carter Will Miss Season Friday, April 27th , 2046 The doctors have spoken and Ron Carter of the Kansas City HS Grays didn't like what he heard. The 15-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Carter sustained his season-ending injury during the Oxnard HS Stars game yesterday at Grays Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Kansas City HS medical staff reported Carter had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months. So far this season Carter has a 2-4 record, 13 starts, 59 innings, 66 strikeouts and a 3.05 ERA. |
