The Milwaukee Brewers turned back the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-4, at Miller Park. Andy Czerpak, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs. Rogelio Guerra picked up the save for Milwaukee, his 15th of the year. The first-place Blue Jays now sit at 48-21.

Czerpak had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from Jonathan Nickle, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Brewers a 5-4 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Czerpak.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Czerpak.
