Spirit Pitching Ravaged by Karbowski Monday, February 15th , 2038 Josh Karbowski said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Captains Ballpark, and it showed in the box score. The Springfield HS left fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Buffalo HS Spirit, leading his club to victory, 6-5. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Karbowski said later." Josh Karbowski singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Dave Mondesir in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. So far this year Karbowski has 1 home run and a .327 batting average. |
